The Qatar HR Suite
Chasing paper attendance sheets. Rebuilding WPS files by hand every month. Recalculating end of service in a spreadsheet nobody trusts. Re-reading the labour law each time it is amended. Centra does all of it — fourteen connected apps, one employee record, in Arabic and English.
The difference
Law No. 14 of 2004 has been amended and supplemented many times over — a minimum wage, free employer transfer, mandatory health cover, Qatarisation quotas, and a major overhaul in 2026. Generic HR software makes you re-configure after every change. Centra ships the rules as code, and updates them when the law does.
The statute everything else amends: contracts and probation, working hours and overtime, annual and sick leave, wage-deduction limits, and end-of-service gratuity.
Article 66 was amended to require wages be paid by electronic transfer into Qatari bank accounts, on time — enforced through the Wage Protection System, with penalties raised again in later reforms.
Labour Dispute Settlement Committees were created to rule within weeks instead of years, and domestic workers received legal protection for the first time.
A non-discriminatory national minimum wage — QAR 1,000 basic, plus QAR 500 housing and QAR 300 food when not provided, QAR 1,800 in total — and the removal of the No-Objection Certificate, so workers can change employer freely. Notice periods were rewritten at the same time.
Employers must fund health insurance for non-Qatari staff in full, with no deduction from salary. Separately, outdoor work is banned from 10:00 to 15:30 between 1 June and 15 September, and all work stops when the heat index passes the limit.
Private employers must prioritise Qatari nationals and children of Qatari mothers in hiring and training, and report on Qatari and non-Qatari headcount.
Issued in June 2026, this reform reshapes non-competition clauses, makes worker committees compulsory at larger employers, adds a conciliation step before disputes reach a committee, and moves part-time and freelance work under separate rules. Implementing decisions are still being issued.

The suite
Every module reads and writes the same core record, so a contract change flows to payroll, attendance flows to overtime, and a resignation flows to the EOSB settlement — without exporting a single file. Explore the suite by what it manages:
Qatar ID, passport and visa tracking, sponsor management, dependents, and expiry alerts on every identity document — the record every other module builds on.
QID · VISA · SPONSORLimited and unlimited types, probation, renewals and amendments exactly as the law defines them, with automated renewal reminders before anything lapses.
ART. 35–47Eighteen document types with 30/60/90-day expiry alerts, analytics and a company-wide compliance wizard that shows exactly who is missing what.
18 TYPES · EXPIRYStandard and Ramadan working weeks, late and early rules, and overtime at 125%/150% computed straight from check-ins — no spreadsheets in between.
48H / 36HZKTeco / eSSL fingerprint and face terminals feeding attendance over ADMS push or SDK pull — from any site, behind any router, with no VPN.
ADMS · PUSH/PULLAnnual accrual, sick-leave tiers, maternity, Hajj and encashment with calendar views — every request validated against service length before approval.
50 / 30 DAYSQatar salary structures with the basic-wage ratio validated, IBAN management, WPS SIF files for bank submission, and EOSB settlement wizards.

LIVE KPIsSee it working
No exports, no retyping — watch the record move on its own, then look at the screens your team would actually live in.
One employee record, end to end — nothing re-entered along the way
Beyond the office
Site workers, drivers, nurses, cleaning and security teams — they are the bulk of the headcount and the hardest to reach. Centra reaches them where they already are, so HR stops chasing paper and people stop queueing at your door.
Fingerprint and face terminals feed attendance straight into Centra from every site, including sites on their own internet connection. No paper timesheets, no manual entry, no arguments at the end of the month — the hours that reach payroll are the hours the terminal recorded.
Staff see payslips and leave balances, request leave, and get approvals on their phone in Arabic or English. The questions that used to fill your inbox answer themselves, and managers approve from wherever they are.
Salary certificates, leave history, documents and an end-of-service estimate are available to every employee without asking HR. Your team gets its week back and spends it on people, not printing.
Try it yourself
Article 54 sets the floor: three weeks of basic wage for every completed year of service, once an employee passes one year. Move the sliders — this is the same calculation Centra runs on every settlement, with the minimum wage checked alongside it.
Indicative figure based on the statutory minimum. Contracts, unpaid leave and company policy can raise it — Centra applies your own rules on top.
Adopting it
Replacing an HR system in one weekend is how projects fail. Centra installs module by module on top of one shared employee record, so you can prove it on payroll or attendance first and add the rest at your own pace.
Begin with the module that hurts most — attendance, or payroll and WPS — and add leave, loans, documents and the portal as your team gets comfortable. Nothing is re-entered when you expand.
Centra sits alongside your existing finance and operations systems rather than replacing them, so your accounting, purchasing and current reports keep working exactly as they do today.
Runs on your own server, in the cloud or in your office, with the full source code handed over. No per-employee subscription meter, and no hostage situation if you ever change partner.
Salaries, penalties and documents are visible strictly by role. Line managers see their team, employees see themselves, and HR sees what HR should — enforced by the system, not by trust.
IET configures it against your actual contracts, allowances and shift patterns, trains your team in Arabic and English, and stays reachable afterwards from our Doha office.
When Qatar amends the labour law — as it did in 2020, 2021, 2024 and again in 2026 — we update Centra and tell you what changed for your company.
